Day 1 = finished

I made it through day one!!
I was actually really comfortable...all things considered. I never had those super awkward "Now what?!" times. It was more like..."Am I talking too much? Am I explaining too many things?" But I still have plenty of things to go over tomorrow so I don't think so! At the end of the day I read a Patricia Polacco book called Lightning in a Jar...and the kids seemed to like it but one said it felt like it was two hours long haha. He was a chatty little boy who didn't like to sit still.
My kids are adorable and ready to learn! Well...mostly ready to learn. I asked what their favorite subjects were and most answers were PE except one was math and another was coloring haha. So tomorrow is PE and I still need to figure out what to do!
I started playing a song on the piano and singing today with the kiddos and it was called 'Enter His Gates"...thinking it was the normal song however it was not. haha.
Oh yeah! While i was reading the book this afternoon I thought a tiny bug was crawling on my glasses so i took them off and tried to wipe it off...only then finding out that it wasn't a bug but the reflection of the fan going on the floor hahahaha
I am tired. exhausted and ready to leave school for the day! So...that will be it for now. Day two is rapidly approaching!
