quickly coming to an end

today it really hit me that my time in los angeles is coming to a close.
when i first came here i knew within a day that the city of la was not a place that i wanted to move to and live. however despite those feelings...i have had a great time here. i am incredibly thankful for the opportunity and experience (thank you to all of those who have been supportive and helpful throughout the time...whether it be cards, phone calls, texts, emails...those things have kept me sane hah). i am feeling sad to leave the warm weather and the wonderfulness of being so close to the beach. i am truly going to miss just going to the beach and watching the sunset at night. that has been one of my favorite things while being here. it is so peaceful...and when everything is so fast paced around here...going to the beach and just listening to the waves crashing and smelling the sea makes everything a little bit better. as most of you know i am a pretty laid back person...so fast paced life isn't something that flows that well with me.

plans for the future...i really dont know. i am going to live my life day by day and see what happens...who knows i am going back to iowa to work at neissink for the summer and most likely for another year. i am looking forward to being in one place for a bit and not having to move all my stuff again. however i will probably get the travel bug again soon and need to go somewhere...
