My New Home For 7 Weeks

I got into la on friday evening after a night in phoenix. Of course, i hit some traffic so it took a little bit longer than anticipated but it was still a good drive. Friday night we Tia and I went out and I quickly found that the scene in la is...not my style :) This will be a very interesting experience and I am glad i came; however, i am SO thankful it is only for 7 weeks. Otherwise i think i would die.

My school is 17 miles away from where I am living. I have been informed to leave AT LEAST an hour and a half to two hours before I need to be there. I have to be at school around 7:30. Yeah...which means that i have to leave for sure by 6am. i am going to die. death to rebekah. horribleness. i hate early mornings and now i have just put myself in a situation where all there will be is early mornings. :'(
Something that has made me insanely happy and joyful is the ocean. i love it. i love the sound of the waves and smell in the air. i would like to spend my 7 weeks on the beach.

Tomorrow is my first day of school and i am very much looking forward to it. I am excited to meet my cooperating teacher and all the little chillens i will be teaching. It seems weird though to start a whole new student teaching experience after just finishing one. I feel like i should be done with school now.
