Just One Thing

The best part of my day:

One of my students came up to me at the end of the day when they could just take a few minutes and read a book and he was looking at my picture Bible. I don't think he has a lot of church background and he goes 'Miss Oudman, did God really do that?' He was pointing at the part when God had parted the Red Sea. I said "yup. He did!" (We had talked a little bit about it the other day in class) He goes "whoa thats cool! Can you read this for storytime next week?" And I asked him if he had a Bible at home and he said he did but not one like that. So I let him take it home for the weeekend.
Yup. That was the best part of my day.
