I Am Back!!...hopefully :)

Well I am going to try to start blogging again but I have never been really great at this.
I can't believe it has been over a year since I have done this!

I am still teaching first and second grade at Inwood Christian! The kids are great of course...hilarious and at times ridiculous, like all kids can be :)

So this past week, on Valentine's Day, flowers were delivered to school and all my kids thought they were beautiful of course. They then found out that I had a boyfriend and that his name was the same as in the story we read in the morning; which they thought was so cool!! One little boy came up to me later and said "Wow Miss Oudman, those flowers are really beautiful."
Then a couple days later I was going to announce to the class that we were having an all school spring musical. It was during lunch, so I said "Alright. I have an announcement to make! This Spring..." I paused for a second to wait for them to quiet down, and during that pause one little boy shouts out: You're getting married!!!! hahahah.
Oh my goodness. I quickly corrected him and told him that 'no! We are having a spring musical.' All the kids were laughing hysterically and a couple of them say "Oh man! That was a good one! Where did you come up with that one?" and the little boy responded..."I don't know I just did!" and the giggles continued.

We are starting to make cardboard robots at school, which I am really excited about and interested to see how they will turn out. It is kind of an open ended art project. I am just going to give them the materials and they can do what they would like with them, well after we get our robots cut out. I will post some ending art projects once they are finished.
