But Where Did God Come From?

Oh I love my job. I am reading this story called 'One Wintry Night' because it kind of gives a good overview of the Bible and some of the main stories. I am supposed to jump into the Jesus story but since one of my students doesn't have a lot of church background I thought this would be good to read (and the illustrations are amazing). So today as I am reading it, little hands start to pop up. And questions start to come about like "But where did God come from? Like he wasn't born. I don't get it!" and "So are we still gonna be alive when Jesus comes back or when will that be?" and "Who is Satan? Wasn't he an angel or something before?"
man oh man. I love to see their little brains turn and start to wonder some of these questions...even at such a young age!

Later in the day I was reading the Magic School Bus...Inside the Human Body...and I was talking about how God made our bodies to work so perfectly together! And a student goes "Man, that God. He is pretty amazing huh?" lol hahahaha
Also in the magic school bus there is a part where they go into the blood stream or something and the body thinks they are food...and one of the kids in the book goes "Well at least we aren't waste!" and I start chuckling to myself and none of my kids got it and didn't understand what waste was...

My mom, Julie and Harper come in TWO SLEEPS!!!!! I can't believe it!

Last night I went to see the hangover....HILARIOUS! One of the funniest movies I have seen in a LONG time!!! :)
