Today was a rough day!

Rain needs to go away.

I have learned something since school started:
Yesterday I was going through a workbook page with my 1st graders and one of the sentences was "The mom went into the _______.
The options were: rock, pond, dad, pad, (and another word that I don't remember)
well I said "The mom went into the rock. Does that sound right?"
The mom went into the...(put dad into the sentence in my head before saying it outloud...realized that would be BAD to say...and chose the word pad) pad."
hahahahahaha. ohhhhh stupid things can make me giggle :)

well. I am going home for some rest and just to get away from school for a bit. Tomorrow will be better.
I read the book "Thank you Mr. Falker" by Patricia Polacco today in class...and the kids really liked.
Starting tomorrow each student is going to come tell me one thing about one student in the class that they admire or tell me what gift God has given them. Then we are going to keep them a secret and eventually every student will say one thing about every other student and then we will pass them out or do something with them.
