dutch church & studentencafe

'The Flying Horse' in the downtown section
of Zwolle

Annie and me in 'Het Vliegende Paarde'

Today we went to the Huls church. All in dutch. The pastor said a couple of things in english because he knew that there were six of us there. The organist that plays for them is deaf. He was really good. After church we came back to our house and all of the families in our neighborhood who are hosting N-spice students came over. Annie, Nicole, Tymona and Jen all live in the same neighborhood as Audrey and me. Then Audrey, Annie, Nicole and I went into the city and found our school. It is about twenty minutes biking from our house. After that Audrey, Annie and I went to 'Het Vliegende Paarde' (the flying horse) where we got some beer and cocktails. It is a studentencafe, so students can go there and during the week we can get food for cheap if we want. Tomorrow we start school with a tour of the GH, getting books, and going to the townhall. Tuesday we are going to Amsterdam for the day.

I wish I could join you for a beer at the Flying Horse. I miss the Netherlands. :(
